Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Graduation/ MBA/ Diploma/ Certificate course completed in Textile/ Garments/ Merchandising will be preferable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fashion Designing, Floor/ Line Management, International Marketing, Merchandising, Production
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments, Manufacturing (FMCG), Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and monitoring the merchandising team.
∎ Capable for sourcing new buyer and order
∎ Skill in communication to handle several numbers of clients/orders/styles at a time.
∎ Expert in production planning and having technical knowledge in knit/woven fabric & seam sealing garments.
∎ Regular Interacting with the buyers directly for any clarifications, managing all samples & getting all required approvals within the target date.
∎ Achievement of Customer satisfaction, proper production planning to achieve the targeted production and on time shipping the goods.
∎ Work closely with production team to ensure the customer requirements are properly interpreted and executed
∎ Prepare and follow up of Time & Action plan (T&A) to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials to the production.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned Time & Action Plan (T&A) on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with proper quality and quantity.
∎ Vast knowledge in costing & pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Monitoring the status of approval / per-production / photo samples/delivery.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Should have sound knowledge in Knit/woven products, fabrics, accessories, trims, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Applicant have very sound technical knowledge of merchandising in Knit & Woven outerwear garments with minimum experiences of 5 or more years in knit composite & Woven garments.
∎ He have proven successfully interpersonal skills to maintain effective and satisfactory working relationships with staff at all levels.
∎ Must have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
∎ Candidates must have advance computer skills.
∎ He have excellent interpersonal communications skills in English/Bengali.
∎ Must have a high sense of Integrity and Hardworking.
∎ Candidate have a high sense of perfection and pro-active capability to resolve issues on a timely manner.
∎ Must have visionary & strategic thinking.
∎ Applicant have capacity to implementation of ideas.
