Responsibilities & Context:

• Repairing all kinds of sewing, pressing kits, folders and all types of gauges.

• All sewing machines are related to spare parts, ability to prepare monthly spare parts requirements and good in inventory management.

• Follow up preventive maintenance schedule with the team and minimize machine breakdown time with continuous follow up.

• Identify and provide machine requirements for different kinds of Knit & Woven Garments products.

• Ensure all electrical and mechanical equipment are in safe working order in line with organization's compliance regulations

• Ensure all certificates of compliance are well maintained and up to date in accordance with Accord / Alliance.

• Managing a team of multi-disciplined maintenance technicians

• Controlling the maintenance expenditure within the given budget and preparing month end financial reports

• Follow up standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all areas of maintenance.

• Identification, assessment, reporting and controlling of risk, associated with maintenance functions.

• Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify employee's training needs and ensure their career developments.

• Delegating the responsibilities among the team and following up the given tasks

• Participating in senior management meetings.

• Energy saving initiatives to minimize the energy consumption of sewing machines.
