• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of canvas interlining, shoulder pads, lining placement, and fabric behavior (wool, tweed, velvet, blends).

• Skills: Expert in manual cutting using straight-knife/band-knife machines and familiar with basic CAD/CAM cutting systems (if applicable).

• Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in pattern matching and maintaining strict tolerance limits.Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, patterns, and markers.

• Excellent knowledge of men's formal wear cutting techniques.

• Ability to work independently and manage cutting operations efficiently.

• Pattern Cutting & Grading: Accurately cut fabrics for men's and women's suits, blazers, and coats according to technical specifications and size charts.

• Fabric Optimization: Ensure maximum fabric utilization and minimal wastage through efficient marker planning and layout.

• Handle fabric spreading and cutting for suits, blazers, and coats.

• Read and follow patterns, marker plans, and buyer specifications.

• Ensure accurate cutting of all garment components, including front panels, sleeves, collars, lapels, and linings.

• Maintain cutting quality, measurement accuracy, and proper panel numbering.

• Minimize fabric wastage and ensure efficient fabric utilization.

• Coordinate with the pattern, sewing, and quality departments.

• Meet production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
