Responsibilities & Context:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Environ Design & Development is seeking a smart, energetic and result-oriented Marketing Officer with a Civil Engineering background to expand our client base and grow our building design, interior design and construction services. The role combines field-based client acquisition, digital marketing and preliminary site coordination with our engineering team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Business Development & Field Marketing: Identify and approach residential, commercial and corporate clients; present company services; arrange client meetings and site visits; follow up on opportunities and maintain professional relationships.
* Digital Marketing & Lead Management: Manage Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn; prepare basic promotional posts; support boosting/ad campaigns; respond to online inquiries and convert leads into meetings.
* Technical Support & Coordination: Use basic AutoCAD 2D to review layouts; assist with preliminary site measurements and client requirement records; coordinate with engineering/execution teams; prepare basic reports, quotations and follow-up records.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* Diploma or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
* 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing or business development preferred.
* Candidates with experience in cement, steel/rebar, paint, building materials or construction-related sales will receive preference.
* Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in sales may also apply.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, MS Word and MS Excel.
* Familiarity with Facebook Page Management, social media posting and boosting.
* Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and client-handling skills in Bangla.
* Understanding of construction materials and basic measurements; willingness to work in both office and field environments.
* Self-motivated, target-oriented, professional and willing to learn.
SALARY & BENEFITS
* Monthly salary: BDT 15,000–20,000, based on experience and capability.
