Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Works with different buyers' teams.
∎ Reviews samples and shade bands with buyer-nominated wash technologists.
∎ Communicates with the sample-related merchandising team.
∎ Follows up on sample development to resolve any wash issues.
∎ Responsible for preparing various types of washes (Denim, Non-denim, Dyeing), such as enzyme wash, stone wash, random/acid wash, garment dyeing, and any required wash targets.
∎ Analyzes the recipes for denim, non-denim, and dyeing washes and works on alternative solutions with garments to meet buyer cost requirements.
∎ Supervises all types of dry processes such as PP rubbing, PP spray, tacking, tying, destroy, grinding, whiskering, hand scraping, resin crinkle, 3D, and special new trend designs.
∎ Develops new waterless and sustainable techniques using laser application, e-flow/nano bubble technology, ozone techniques, and advanced chemical usage.
∎ Prepares EIM reports.
∎ Conducts risk assessments and root cause analyses to ensure hassle-free production.
∎ Maintains all documents in the correct format for easy accessibility.
∎ Communicates and alerts senior management of all high-level issues in a timely and urgent manner.
