Responsibilities & Context:
Identify, evaluate, and select local suppliers/vendors.
Maintain good relationships with vendors.
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Request for quotations (RFQ) from multiple vendors.
Analyze quotations and negotiate the best price and quality.
Understand material requirements from various departments.
Plan and schedule purchases to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Work within budget and seek cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs).
Ensure that the products received match the required specifications.
Stay updated on market trends, price changes, and availability of materials.
Any other task assigned by the Head of Department.
