Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager / Manager – Supply Chain Management to lead and oversee the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations. The role will be responsible for procurement, sourcing, supplier management, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution while ensuring uninterrupted supply and cost-effective operations. The position will also lead the SCM team, drive process improvement, manage key stakeholders, and ensure that all supply chain activities are aligned with the company’s operational and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the end-to-end SCM operations, including procurement, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
Develop and implement SCM strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and efficient business operations.
Manage the complete procurement cycle, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, purchase planning, and timely delivery.
Ensure optimum inventory levels and effective stock management to minimize shortages, excess inventory, wastage, and carrying costs.
Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper receiving, storage, handling, stock accuracy, documentation, and timely dispatch.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, transporters, and other business partners while ensuring competitive pricing and service quality.
Coordinate closely with Production, Sales, Finance, Commercial, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth and timely supply chain operations.
Monitor SCM costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and waste reduction.
Establish and monitor SCM KPIs, ensuring team accountability, productivity, service level, and continuous operational improvement.
Prepare and analyze SCM reports, forecasts, budgets, and performance indicators and provide strategic recommendations to top management.
Lead, develop, and motivate the SCM team, ensuring effective manpower planning, performance management, training, and succession planning.
Ensure overall compliance, risk management, and business continuity across SCM operations while taking full responsibility for achieving cost, quality, availability, and delivery targets.
