Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Needs Assessment:
∎ Conduct assessments to identify the skills needs and gaps within the target population or community.
∎ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand demand of trade, local job market demands and industry requirements.
∎ Local market accessibility and market linkage
∎ Skill Training Program Design:
∎ Develop and design skill training programs based on identified needs and in alignment with industry standards.
∎ Create curriculum, training materials, module and session guide and assessment tools for effective skill development.
∎ To lead module capacity strengthening of staff both technical and program.
∎ Training Delivery:
∎ Facilitate skill development training sessions, workshops, and practical exercises for staff and participants.
∎ Provide hands-on guidance and support to ensure participants acquire and master the necessary skills.
∎ Capacity Building:
∎ Implement capacity-building initiatives for trainers and facilitators to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training programs.
∎ Work with educational institutions, vocational training canter’s, and industry experts to stay updated on best practices.

∎ The Skill Development officer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and evaluating Food Security & Livelihood initiatives for the “Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (BPRM) project for Food Security & Livelihood and Child protection sectors” under YPSA (Young Power in Social Action) at at Ukiya & Teknaf Upazila (Host & Camp) in Cox's Bazar. This position involves working closely with project stakeholders, youth participants, and community partners to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
