Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Experienced and technical know-how to set up and run modern Sewing machine using Sunrise Transport System Intelligence for Apparel.
∎ Experienced in a fast pace high volume Knits/T-shirt production for at least 5-6 years.
∎ Know how to prepare production schedule/sewing plan per line in collaboration with the planning department.
∎ Expertise in production load management and line balancing as per buyer style requirement.
∎ Have demonstrated capability for efficient utilization of manpower to achieve the hourly/daily production target.
∎ Familiar and knowledgeable of modern production machineries and equipment.
∎ With technical sound knowledge on production quality adherence based on buyer requirements and factory quality expectation in coordination with quality department.
∎ Follow up and make sure the availability of required machines, attachments and manpower on time as per the style feeding plan.
∎ Having the ability to understand the importance and the relevance of Industrial Engineering activities.
∎ Regular reporting of production status to the senior management to strategize future plans.
∎ Assist in different aspects of the department to assure work flow (i.e. labeling, quality control/assurance, steam/press of products going through the repair section)Assist and ensure that daily production quotas are met and identify/maintain product integrity and quality of work at all times
∎ Perform maintenance of machinery as necessary and maintain a safe and clean work environment
∎ Knowledgeable of how to change sewing needle for multiple gauge style.
∎ Knowledgeable and experience on how to identify and prevent sewing defects
∎ Technical know-how on setting up sewing tension in accordance with sewing chart / method.
∎ Monitoring the total sewing output of the day.
∎ Recommend any line improvement as necessary.
