Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Opportunity- The Senior Technical Advisor-Program Implementation is a senior position within the program and will provide strategic leadership, administrative and management support and need-based technical assistance to enable the program implementation teams for prioritization and planning, high quality implementation and robust monitoring of program results. S/he will coordinate with key GoB counterpart officials and MaMoni MNCSP technical thematic teams and support teams to facilitate smooth implementation at district and sub-district levels. S/he will also support, guide and manage partners NGOs (PHD and local NGOs) in implementing MaMoni MNCSP program activities. The Senior Technical Advisor leads the implementation team, supervising the Advisors and Deputy Directors (who supervises Senior Managers at the district level).
∎ Some other key areas of responsibilities:
∎ Guide and oversee the district level planning process to ensure development of evidence-based, bottom-up planning in all program districts
∎ Establish program management indicators and milestones and systems for tracking progress
∎ Guide and support district teams to develop annual workplans and budgets for the PNGOs
∎ Develop and implement plans for organizational capacity development for PNGOs
∎ Serve as a technical resource for the district-based implementation teams in MNH technical areas and health systems strengthening
∎ Reinforce health systems strengthening approach in all program efforts by project teams at the district level

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years' experience in development program management with firm programmatic and technical grounding in primary health care and public health
∎ Demonstrated experience on managing maternal, newborn, and/or child health and nutrition programs, including USAID funded programs, highly preferred.
∎ Ability to interact skillfully and diplomatically with numerous counterparts, at district and national levels
∎ Demonstrated financial management experience, including preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial reports
∎ Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform
∎ Ability to build, lead, and effectively mentor and supervise a large interdisciplinary team
∎ Proficient in computer skills on MS Office package and using of internet
∎ Excellent leadership and communication skills
