• Age At least 27 years

• 3–5 years of experience in packaging development within the RMG or apparel sourcing industry.
• Experience working with international buyers (e.g., H&M, Inditex, PVH, Walmart).
• Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and environmental impact analysis.
• Proficiency in packaging design tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD, Adobe Illustrator).
• Understanding of supply chain dynamics in Bangladesh/India RMG sector.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable packaging materials and technologies.
• Familiarity with buyer compliance requirements and sustainability certifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

As the Senior Tailoring & Pattern Master your mission is to transform complex design concepts into perfect, production-ready garments. By balancing traditional tailoring craftsmanship with modern speed, you ensure that every sample meets international fit standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Technical Pattern Development

• Drafting & Accuracy: Draft, design, and finalize garment patterns based on client measurements, designer sketches, or technical specifications. Ensure accuracy in fit, proportion, and style across all garments.

• Design Alignment: Ensure pattern Spec does corresponding with design.

• Anatomical Knowledge: Understand Better key Area of Body shape (Men’s, Ladies & Children) and prepare any kinds of Spec with in short times.

• Workflow Integration: To have clear idea about sewing method which will not conflict while creating pattern.

2. Fittings, Adjustments & Grading

• Silhouette Mastery: Lead fitting sessions with clients or models, making precise alterations to achieve the desired silhouette. Adapt patterns to different body types while maintaining design integrity.

• Regional Grading: Capable to grade the pattern from the base size also understand the appropriate grading rules on various region.

• Production Advocacy: Capable to Debate to get correct fitting on some area which not suitable for production.

3. Construction & Quality Control

• Fabric Analysis: Assess fabric behavior (stretch, drape, shrinkage) and adjust patterns accordingly.

• Technical Consulting: Provide technical input on garment construction methods to optimize quality and durability.

• Standardization: Oversee cutting and tailoring processes to ensure patterns are executed correctly. Maintain consistency in sizing, finishing, and craftsmanship standards.

4. Leadership & Operational Innovation

• Mentorship: Supervise and train junior pattern makers and tailors. Share advanced techniques and best practices to elevate team performance.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with designers, production managers, and clients to translate creative concepts into wearable garments. Communicate effectively across departments to meet deadlines and maintain brand standards.

• Modernization: Introduce modern tools such as CAD pattern-making software while preserving traditional tailoring excellence.
