Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc/MSc in Nutrition or any relevant subject from any reputed University/Institute

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure implementation of project interventions through technical support to the Community Nutrition Promoter (CNP) and Technical Assistant according to project design.
∎ Counselling the target population including caregivers of under five children, adolescent girls, and pregnant and lactating women with technical guidance from Sector Specialist (Nutrition).
∎ Support preparations of training materials on nutrition change behavior practices and ensure capacity building of the field staff and Community Nutrition Promoters.
∎ Ensure screening of targeted children and Pregnant and Lactating Women (PLW) and ensure referral of acutely malnourished children and PLW to nutrition & health facilities following protocol.
∎ Ensure all targeted Pregnant and Lactating women receive counseling to promote IYCF practices.
∎ Produce and maintain records of the beneficiaries as a member of the team, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure community mobilization and referral.
∎ Support project team members to ensure coordination with the camp and local stakeholders and the relevant departments for the smooth functioning of the project interventions.
∎ Prepare weekly, biweekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports and observation reports.
∎ Facilitate training and recruitment of Community Nutrition Promoters to ensure efficient and effective implementation of the project interventions.
∎ Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to enhance team performance and motivation.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

∎ Computer Skill (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Photoshop)
