  • Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in remittance operations, FX trading, or NRB banking services.

  • Hands-on experience in regulatory reporting (FRTMD, Bangladesh Bank portals), SWIFT GPI, and partner coordination is essential.

  • Experience in branch staff training or operational rollout is a plus.

  • UAE or GCC market experience will be considered an advantage.

Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:

  • Strong communication and coordination skills in both Bangla and English.

  • Advanced user of MS Excel and digital banking systems.

  • Sound knowledge of central bank compliance, AML, and remittance regulatory frameworks.

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

Job Grade: Senior Officer to Principal Officer

Job Context:

We are a leading private commercial bank in Bangladesh, committed to financial innovation and expanding remittance services for Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs). As part of establishing a dedicated Remittance Division, we are seeking a skilled and motivated professional with strong experience in remittance operations and partnerships to contribute to building and driving this department forward.

Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka (with possible overseas or local travel)

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage relationships with global remittance partners (MTOs, Exchange Houses, FinTechs).

  • Monitor FX market trends, obtain rate quotations, and share competitive pricing with treasury to secure profitable remittance deals.

  • Manage fund positions of remittance partners; coordinate settlement through Nostro accounts and ensure timely reconciliation.

  • Conduct periodic reviews of AML/KYC documentation and partner onboarding processes in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including FRTMD Reports, District Wage Remittance Reports, and others as per Bangladesh Bank guidelines.

  • Train branch staff nationwide on cash remittance payout, documentation, and system handling to ensure smooth remittance delivery.

  • Coordinate with branches to resolve payout-related issues and improve service efficiency.

  • Maintain records of FX deals and prepare daily reports for senior management.

  • Support internal and external audit queries and ensure documentation accuracy.

  • Contribute to promotional campaigns, new product ideas, and strategic NRB engagement
