Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Must be a law graduate.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Garments Industry

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Litigation Handling - Handle all litigations apart from regulatory ones, identifying and appointing relevant lawyers, providing necessary documentation support, coordinating internally, vetting the pleadings, monitoring the case status, representing the company in the court of law when required and dealing with law enforcement agencies.
∎ Represent the company with respect to any query resolution aimed at securing timely disbursement.
∎ Responsible for labor court related cases.
∎ Responsible for ongoing and new disciplinary issues in factory ground.
∎ Initiate and pursue legal proceedings as required by the Company i.e., prepare writs, defenses, submissions and other pleadings in civil cases both "for and against" the Company.
∎ Prepare, file and plead cases in Commercial Court in pursuit of amounts owed to the Company.
∎ Review and provide legal advice on tender documents, ongoing cases, statutory compliances
∎ Draft and/or review legal letters, contracts and agreements and monitor legal obligations under agreements to ensure compliance, as requested.
∎ Represent the Company at Arbitration and Public Utilities Commission hearings.
∎ Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
∎ Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly.
∎ Provide legal opinion and legal vetting of charge / legal documents labor dispute. Discuss with Mgmt and create Plan and Schedule for all the necessary activities.
∎ Liaison with Govt. Administration with respect to legal matters.
∎ Identify related Clearances and Approvals required for undertaking organizational activities in Block areas.
∎ Build working relationships with Govt. parties etc. for facilitating activities.
∎ Advise and recommend senior management on the prevailing socio-political landscape in areas of operations.
∎ Work closely with 3rd party consultants to develop the process.
∎ Engage with Vendors and formulate plans for scaling up & identifying opportunities for outsourcing.
∎ Implement programs to reduce instances of indiscipline.
∎ Respond and resolves problem received from employees on specific work-related issues and challenges.
∎ Proactively counsel and help workers / team members understanding in respect to - Advantage of arriving office in time, avoiding unauthorized absence, Counsel Team Members/ Workers/ Employees having performance difficulties.
∎ Implement employee recognition programs or initiatives.
∎ Provide inputs and co-ordinate implementation of identified automation of ER Operational Process.
∎ Conduct planned and periodic awareness programs on - Importance of Team work. & Managing Personal problem affecting work.
∎ Any others job assign by Management.
