Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proactive involvement in handling all merchandising related functions independently as well as working in close conjunction with merchandising team members in overseeing different clients/customer accounts, beginning from yarn consumption till final order placement
∎ Engaging in daily interactions with design team and sampling team for following up on raw materials, yarns, fabrics, accessories, trims and sample status
∎ Working as a facilitator of merchandising functions with each of the merchandising team members to provide management team members daily integrated merchandise related status updates
∎ Coordinating merchandising functions on a daily basis with production/production planning department to ensure timely development and delivery of sample programs and timely delivery of yarns/accessories/trims to factory as planned against the relevant time & action plans and schedules
∎ Scheduling and supervising time & action plans for sample section programs in a synchronized manner for timely delivery to buyers/customers, as well as conducting independent inspections of the sample garments before being sent to clients/customers
∎ Daily planning and scheduling of different sampling requirements and coordinating sequenced series of sampling programs from the sample sections according to date-wise priority
∎ Communicate with designer to understand upcoming collection
∎ Liaison with sourcing team to collect and create fabric library for designer to work with
∎ Book and track sample yardage from supplier selected by designer
∎ Send samples to designers and to buyers as requested
∎ Responsible to look at designated accounts assigned by the management, and provide updates
∎ Coordinate all responsibilities in order to continuously create successful collection one after another
∎ Follow up activities with fabric suppliers, factories, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time collection completion
∎ Handle designers' inquiries
∎ The applicants should have experience in sweater (flat knit) items
∎ Provide advice on design execution improvement and samples to meet customers' requirements
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experienced in sweater manufacturing.
∎ Interested candidates seeking to join in this capacity must be willing to relocate close to the factory area as per the requirements of factory management
∎ Prior working experiences in similar working environments (merchandising, sampling, production, quality)
∎ Fluency in written and spoken communication (English and Bengali)
∎ Basic foundation in using computer applications (INTERNET, Microsoft office suite, etc.)
Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 - 40000 (Monthly)
∎ Festival bonus and others allowance as per company policy.
