Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Bachelor / Graduate of Merchandising or any related study on knit sweater. Textile background will be also considered.
∎ BGMEA University of Fashion Technology students will get preference
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Any professional certificate related to job will be given preference.
∎ Skills Required: Buyer Handling, Merchandising
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To support the merchandising function of the company ( pre-production / production ) in Bangladesh (for Outerwear and Jersey wear)
∎ To work with merchandising manager to ensure that all factories are working within the required production standard according to the order lead-time.
∎ To drive the account according to the customer requirements and companies expectation of production and lead-time.
∎ To monitor the production flow on regular basis to ensure proper executions align with plan.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Applicant should to know about Sweater, Woven and knits background with be added extra value
∎ Must have good knowledge about garment production and quality issues, must have ability suppliers & Production staffs.
∎ Take full responsibility from the time order received from marketing team until the order has been shipped.
∎ Be proactive and take more initiatives & solve problems and share them with the rest of the team.
∎ Self-motivated, self-organized and responsible.
∎ Work actively with samples together with technician
∎ Able and willing to work under pressure.
∎ Good communication skills including mail correspondence.
∎ Keep departments Manager updated of general order situation
∎ Create good dialogue with UK counterpart and understand their priorities and act accordingly.
∎ Good PC knowledge (Windows XP, Word, Excel)
∎ Proficiency (both written and oral) in English are compulsory, proficiency in Mail correspondence with all concern.
∎ Must have capability of all sorts' production follow-up.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
