Job Context:
∎ We are an apparel and leather buying house sourcing company and Japanese reconditioned car importer owning a display centre in Dhaka. We are dealing with foreign buyers, especially Japanese companies and buyers. Now, we are looking for an experienced person who will be able to deal with the costs of the knit, woven and sweater products` orders and has a good idea about the apparel sector of business
∎ Job Location Apollo Link Road Bashundhara Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidates must know to do the costings of apparel products in quite a short time to be
∎ able to provide the buyers with all the inquired information
∎ He should have earlier experience of doing the costings of the orders and provide them
∎ to buyers as soon as possible.
∎ Good communication skills are required to bargain with the yarn, fabrics, apparel and
∎ accessories manufacturers about the costs, in order to provide the buyers with the best prices.
∎ Candidates must be proactive and creative in order to formulate/ implement efficient & effective business techniques.
∎ Must have vast experience in working at an apparel factory. (If candidate has worker at a Japanese liaison office, apparel factory or company will have a good chance of this job) Supervise merchandising activities in the entire order process to ensure customer
∎ satisfaction and on time delivery.
∎ Work closely with the QA team and factory to ensure that the customer's requirements
∎ are interpreted and executed.
∎ Optional: Might have experience in or have knowledge about online marketing/ know fashion designing like designing apparel products such as tees and pants for Japan online marketing.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Fluent English speaker with good writing skills and grammar . (Do not apply if you don't have any experience with foreign/ japanese buyers)
∎ Do not apply if you cannot get transferred to Japan due to work responsibilities
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Merchandising in Buying
∎ House The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments, Textile Must be well disciplined, should have a dynamic & good personality Strong Analytical & problem solving skills. Self-motivated, a team player, open-minded with strong negotiation and communication skills;
∎ Computer skills like MICROSOFT POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS, EXCEL SHEETS, ETC. Better if he has knowledge of fashion designing
∎ Able to work under pressure.
