Job Context:

 A Senior Medical Officer will deliver comprehensive medical support and ensuring quality documentation and patient communication—all within a structured, ethical, and collaborative environment at The Barakah Hospital Madonpur PLC.

Job Responsibility:                                                                                  

• Provide direct patient care, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Conduct daily rounds, review patient progress, and update treatment plans.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient history, examination, and treatment.
• Guide the medical team in clinical decision-making and patient management.
• Monitor clinical performance and provide training when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with hospital guidelines and quality standards.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Arrange departmental meetings, audits, and review sessions.
• Support hospital management in planning and implementing healthcare protocols.
• Ensure availability of necessary medical supplies, emergency drugs, and equipment.
• Verify adherence to clinical protocols and standard treatment guidelines.
• Handle patient complaints or concerns professionally.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, paramedics, and other departments.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Provide clear counseling to patients and attendants about diagnosis and treatment.
• Conduct clinical teaching, and training sessions.
• Stay updated with recent medical advancements and apply them in practice.
• Any other duties of similar nature which is not covered by the above item & that may be assigned to you by the Hospital Management in the interest of the patients.
