∎ Postgraduate/ Graduate from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic track record;
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure transactions are processed efficiently to meet local and international regulations (UCPDC, URC. URDG) business and client requirements;
∎ Process trade transactions to achieve operational standards, productivity, and efficiency and mitigate operational risk;
∎ Ensure transactions are processed within the agreed Service Level Agreement with the business;
∎ Assist the Head of the Department in achieving the financial performance target set by the business;
∎ Ensure that transactions are released as per the bank's Standard Operating Procedure, and client's instructions and within the specified timeline accurately;
∎ Comply with the bank's trade-based money laundering prevention policy and procedures to the extent applicable and escalate any unusual transactions on the AML to the central AML division;
∎ Identify risk continually and derive mitigants on a sustained basis;
∎ Comply with Local Sanctions Policies and Procedures, if any;
∎ Identify continuous improvement initiatives in simplifying the processes and procedures applying LEAN techniques;
∎ Maintain close working relationships with trade customers to ensure prompt and effective responses to the various business requirements, queries, and requests;
∎ Aware of the business strategies and ensure compliance;
∎ Own business transactions of clients and ensure completion at all levels/stages on a sustained basis;
∎ Provide technical solutions/ advisory services related to trade transactions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years of banking experience in Trade Operations;
∎ Good understanding of ICC rules and local regulations;
∎ International Certification in Trade is preferable;
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skills;
∎ Be customer-centric and keen to develop others.
