Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Senior Manager – MIS is a focal person to lead operationalization and maintenance of the MIS (web and android-based application) across Suchana Consortium for monitoring, data management, analysis, and reporting.
∎ S/he should be highly conversant in integrating information requirements with validation rules in the MIS for data processing, quality assurance and customized reporting.
∎ S/he should also be acquainted with spatial analysis and produce GIS outputs (maps).
∎ S/he will continuously perform back-end scripting in SQL, android, web applications to prepare reporting for the Suchana team (both programme and MEAL).
∎ S/he will work closely with MEAL team and take lead in developing strategies/guidelines for continuing MIS at the technical and implementing partners.
∎ S/he will consistently offer capacity development for technical and implementing partners in operationalization of MIS and function as a helpdesk to assist them as per requirement.
∎ S/he will continuously check performance of the system and recommend for necessary modification to the MIS development team based on ICT section.
∎ S/he will supervise MIS officer and upazilla-based IP team (MEKMOs) at Suchana programme area (Sylhet and Moulvibazar).
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years’ experience in the field of large scale data management (experience in food security and nutrition project is an advantage), mobile/web based client server protocol, of which 3 years in management position
∎ S/he is expected to have advanced knowledge on RDBMS tools and common techniques preferably on advanced SQL Scripting
∎ Demonstrated capacity on developing mobile/web applications using ASP.Net, CSS, Ajax, Java Script, ArcGIS etc.
∎ Experience on working with mobile devices and windows based mobile applications, including regular maintenance and troubleshooting
∎ Data analysis skills using SPSS/STATA & Excel, sufficient skills on data mining (SQL Server and .Net Framework etc.)
∎ Programme performance monitoring skills based on indicators as set at the results framework and expertise in data validation tools and techniques for NGO programs will be an added advantage.
