Job Purpose:

The Manager, Production is responsible for leading, managing, and optimizing the entire production lifecycle of Texprego’s buying house operations. This role ensures seamless coordination between buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality products on time, within cost, and meeting all compliance standards. The incumbent will be accountable for production planning, process improvement, vendor management, and operational excellence, enabling Texprego to achieve its growth and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise end-to-end production operations to meet buyer deadlines and quality requirements.
• Collaborate closely with merchandising, sourcing, and design teams to align buyer specifications with production plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Time & Action (T&A) plans for all orders to ensure shipment deadlines are met.
• Collect regular production status reports from factories and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
• Update ERP systems with production progress, delays, shipment status, and quality metrics to enable real-time visibility for management and buyers.
• Conduct weekly production review meetings with suppliers and internal teams to identify bottlenecks and resolve issues.
• Optimize operational efficiency by introducing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and continuous process improvements.
• Allocate production loads effectively across supplier factories based on capacity and lead time.
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure buyer quality standards and compliance requirements are consistently met.
• Maintain proactive communication with buyers regarding production milestones and potential risks.
• Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely resolutions.
• Drive cost optimization opportunities in production while maintaining quality standards.
• Submit weekly dashboards and reports to senior management on production performance and operational KPIs.
