Responsibilities & Context:
Job Purpose
The Senior Fit Technician will lead Texprego’s fitting and technical processes to ensure garments meet buyer specifications for fit, construction, and quality. This role ensures product consistency across all styles, supports the development of technical solutions, and works closely with internal teams and buyers to resolve fit-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Fit & Sample Review:
- Conduct fit sessions on live models or mannequins.
- Provide detailed technical feedback on garment construction, balance, and measurements.
- Approve and track fit across all sample stages (Proto, SMS, PPS, TOP).
Technical Analysis:
- Review patterns, grading, and garment measurements to ensure accuracy.
- Verify that measurement charts and technical specs are correctly applied.
- Recommend technical improvements to enhance fit and comfort
Collaboration:
- Work closely with merchandisers, pattern makers, and production teams to resolve fit issues.
- Maintain clear communication with buyers’ technical teams for alignment on fit standards.
- Support troubleshooting during bulk production to prevent fit-related rejections.
Training & Mentoring:
- Guide and train junior fit technicians and support staff.
- Share best practices on fit evaluation and garment construction with the team.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate fit history and records.
- Prepare technical reports and track sample approvals for timely delivery.
