Job Context:
Asian TV, a leading private satellite television channel, is seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior Manager – HR & Admin to lead and strengthen its HR and administrative functions. This role requires strong leadership acumen, comprehensive expertise in human resources management, and proven, hands-on experience overseeing people operations, HR policies, and administrative systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient operations within a fast-paced media environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Human Resources -
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business and broadcasting operations.
Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, and manpower planning for all departments.
Manage performance appraisal systems, KPIs, promotions, and disciplinary procedures.
Design and manage compensation & benefits, payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management.
Lead employee engagement, training & development, succession planning, and talent retention initiatives.
Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution professionally.
Ensure compliance with the Bangladesh Labor Act, labor rules, and other statutory requirements.
Administration -
Oversee all administrative functions, including office management, transport, security, housekeeping, and vendor management.
Supervise maintenance of office facilities, studio premises, and administrative assets.
Develop and control admin budgets and cost-optimization initiatives.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities, government offices, and external stakeholders when required.
Ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations supporting broadcasting activities.
