Job Context:
∎ BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented and enthusiastic individual for the position in its Finance Division.
∎ Job Grade: AVP/FAVP

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements of bank complying with Bangladesh Bank directives and IFRS and analysis (budget and actual variances, ratio analysis) on monthly basis for submitting to management for identifying performance and taking timely decision and following procedures are to be followed for finalization of monthly financials.
∎ Lead the preparation of banks' Annual Report.
∎ Identify loan loss provision, provision against off-balance sheet exposures, investment, and other assets through analyzing: (a) CL Statement; (b) Off-Balance sheet exposure.
∎ Obtain information such as write off, recovery from write off, information about tax exemptions for computing corporate tax.
∎ Assist in closure of books and ledger entries and providing appropriate guidance in the making required adjustments and eliminating the errors and the end of every accounting year.
∎ Ability to operate effectively with direct supervision over complex processes.
∎ Participate in meetings in addressing issues and providing guidelines and corrective measures and identification of potential opportunities.
∎ Implement robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure policy and regulations compliance.
∎ Conduct regular periodic internal audits and recommending corrective actions.
∎ Mitigate financial risks and discrepancies and provide corrective measures.
∎ Review the internal control processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
∎ Adhere to the policies, laws and obligations of the bank and uphold Bank's reputation.
∎ Demonstrate appropriate risk assessment in terms of the Bank's reputation and image in the internal and external environment of bank.
∎ Conduct fair and ethical business practices and judgements which are compliant.
∎ Ensure transparency throughout the practices and workings of the Bank and provide corrective measures to the same.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant with minimum 5 years post qualification working experience in relevant field is preferred.
∎ Expertise in Knowledge of Banking Fundamentals, Products & Processes.
∎ Expertise in IFRS & Bangladesh Bank Regulations and Guidelines for preparation of financial reports.
∎ Expertise in Market Intelligence & Know-how, Market Research & Consumer Analytics.
∎ Digital Readiness - Expertise in working on MS Office & Android / Apple Platforms.
∎ Highest order of Integrity.
∎ Expert in customer-centricity, Collaboration, Ownership & Results Delivery and capable to develop others.
