Job Context:
∎ Experienced Senior Manager - Data Networks with a demonstrated history of working in ISP/IIG industry managing highly skilled performing team to deliver Core Network Engineering Services globally within the Data Center (On-premise and in the Cloud) - Core routing and Switching design supporting the ISP/IIG/NIX, Information Security and other related technology operation.
∎ The ideal candidate for this position will have demonstrated experience leading teams of engineering professionals in an enterprise setting. Responsible for cross-functional management of specific application(s) or solution(s) to achieve business goals. Uses technical and industry experience to formulate engineering/ solution strategies. Works across functional areas to implement strategies. Works with product development leaders in engineering/ business teams to ensure customer needs and requirements are represented. Decisions may impact overall business, but are mainly related to the product team or work area. Provides authoritative advice to management based on deep subject matter expertise.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ ISP / IIG / NIX Network and Service performance monitoring and optimization for performance improvement.
∎ Planning, implementation, optimization, troubleshooting of IIG and ISP core IP and Transmission network.
∎ Network capacity, expansion planning and implementation for ISP, IIG & NIX.
∎ Evaluation and planning of different routing/switching and network topologies for improve of service performance.
∎ Work with leading edge technologies to incorporate complex and modern infrastructure solutions integrating with network deployments, as well as work with other technology teams to contribute to an overall solution.
∎ Cost analysis and optimization of different component of IIG and ISP Core network.
∎ Plan, design and implement technical solution for IP/MPLS / SD-WAN backbone.
∎ Responsible for handling technical problems with high performance and quality of services.
∎ Define service level and maintain network security as well as network performance.
∎ Responsible for supporting business team and have a good technical interaction with customer.
∎ Lead 24x7 NMC and tech support team for customer provisioning and technical support.
∎ Configure and maintenance of NMS, MRTG and other network tools.
∎ Customer focused with pro-active and responsive approach.
∎ Support training for data network, NMC, and tech support team.
∎ Developing backup/disaster recovery plan for a network emergency.
∎ Maintaining communication with different vendors, upstream, NTTN and other related parties.
∎ Products / Technical Knowledge update through self-learning techniques, to meet upcoming service requirements
∎ Maintaining network parameter as per regulator directives and different network related reporting to regulatory authority. Network resource management and allocation to ensure smooth operation.
∎ Excellent communication skills with ability to structure messages in keeping with listener's experience, background -and expectations.
∎ Experience mentoring team members in the use of tools, systems and best practices.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s) in the relevant area.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ ISP, IIG, NIX Data Network.
∎ Working experience on multi-vendor Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik equipment's.
∎ Hand on experienced on large IP/MPLS network.
∎ Sound knowledge on L2/L3 network and protocols.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Strong communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills
