Alam Textile & Garments is seeking a creative, trend-savvy, and commercially driven Senior Fashion Designer – Kidswear & Retail Fashion to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing fashionable and market-oriented kidswear collections, with a strong understanding of retail customer preferences, seasonal trends, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of seasonal and trend-right collections for boys’ tops and bottoms.

• Conduct in-depth research on fashion trends, consumer preferences, fabrics, colors, prints, washes, and trims.

• Create design concepts, mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, and detailed tech packs for product development.

• Collaborate closely with merchandising, sourcing, sampling, and production teams to ensure timely execution of designs.

• Ensure all products align with the brand’s positioning, target customer needs, and commercial objectives.

• Review samples and provide feedback on fit, styling, construction, fabric selection, and overall product quality.

• Monitor product development from concept to final production, ensuring design integrity is maintained throughout the process.

• Identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation to strengthen the brand’s market presence.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in boys’ wear or children's apparel.

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, pattern development, and production processes.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Excellent trend forecasting, creative thinking, and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
