Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure smooth running of all ICT systems, software, email applications, hardware, including anti-virus, and other related applications;
∎ Perform installation and configuration of Windows OS, software, applications, desktop hardware, network switches, routers etc.;
∎ Troubleshoot malfunctions of network, desktop/laptop, printers, and other IT hardware, and software applications to resolve operational issues and restore services;
∎ Provide support to clinics remotely in different network, software/hardware, and system related problems;
∎ Ensure all clinics are well equipped with necessary hardware, software, and applications to carry out their operations and stay connected to the HQ;
∎ Assist in promoting the best practice in the development of information systems;
∎ Evaluate user needs and system functionality and ensure that ICT facilities meet them;
∎ Handle IT equipment inventory, keep track and manage them;
∎ Contribute in managing crisis and emergency situations across entire SHN network which may involve complex technical hardware or software issue troubleshooting;
∎ Assist in completing IT projects, coordinating with other departments and 3rd party vendors as required;
∎ Performs disaster recovery and back-up procedures and ensure information security and control structures according to SHN IT policies;
∎ Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards;
∎ Keeps up to date with the recent IT developments in the industry by attending educational workshops and seminars and own research;
∎ Communicate and co-ordinate with vendors regarding different types of IT products and service issues;
∎ Carry out other functions as instructed by the supervisor or the CEO.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support and LAN/WAN installation and maintenance;
∎ Minimum Bachelor’s degree in CSE, EEE, ICT or a relevant field;
∎ Solid understanding of networking concepts, remote connectivity, and use of web-based applications and tools;
∎ Working experience in Windows Server and services such as DHCP, DNS, file server, NAS etc.
∎ Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
∎ Knowledge of Azure services would be a plus;
∎ Knowledge in health service delivery is preferred.
∎ Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written Bangla and English;
∎ Willingness to travel
