Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze international market information regarding material price, other qualitative and quantitative issues in the relevant industries and economies for procurement in competitive prices.
∎ Manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in and/or out of the country in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local, country and international law and process.
∎ Plan strategic and operational processes for import and export activities and other sourcing issues. Assisting the commercial head for formulating policies, manuals and any other directives including the local and international guidelines.
∎ Control the Specification/standards for material and operational process based on Viyellatex's specification. Their on-time delivery and necessary payments are also to be ensured.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the suppliers and planning for procurement, issuing enquiry considering the consumption pattern, lead time, consignment position and maintaining those quotation accordingly.
∎ Communicate with relevant authorities both locally and internationally in order to ensure smooth delivery of imported products.
∎ Co-ordinate with other functions regarding annual procurement planning, budgeting, and checking with specification/requirement, consignment position and so on.
∎ Organize the vendor evaluation and selection process and all the necessary documentations for export/ import of items.
∎ Supervise the Clearing & Forwarding Agent for clearing the imported/exported materials from port to store or vise versa.
∎ Liaise with relevant government and regulatory bodies in order to handle export operations.
∎ Render full supports and actively involved in any project related works of the Company.
∎ Provide routine and non-routine reporting to meet various requirements of Groups and Local Mgt. in time.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs and their career development plans.
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace to ensure zero NC.
∎ Comply with clean desk policy in place to increase productivity and stay organized.
∎ Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Team management experience with in purchasing or similar function;
∎ Hands on experience of Export & Import processes including L/C operation.
