Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensures successful implementation and maintenance of the defined configuration standards
∎ Provide Level 2 & 3 support for storage, virtualization, Linux, and VDI environment
∎ VDI component management and troubleshooting of priority VDI incidents
∎ Patching, managing, and troubleshooting Linux servers
∎ Patching, managing, and troubleshooting VMware hypervisor servers
∎ Upgrading, installing, managing, and troubleshooting physical server hardware
∎ Upgrading, installing, managing, and troubleshooting storage infrastructure
∎ Provision new virtual servers as needed
∎ Provision new storage resources and expand existing volumes as needed
∎ Decommission virtualization and storage resources as needed
∎ Analyzing and troubleshooting of performance issues
∎ Perform capacity reporting as needed
∎ Assist with data center facility management
∎ Coordinate with vendor for replacement and resolution of failed hardware
∎ Participation in annual DR testing exercises
∎ Maintain and create documentation as required

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in the maintenance, implementation and support of Dell - EMC, HP, NetApp, Oracle, hardware and software solutions including VNX, Isilon.
∎ Experience in the implementation and support of HP & EMC hardware and software solutions including Cluster
∎ Experience in managing fibre channel based SAN fabrics using Brocade and/or Cisco SAN switches.
∎ Experience in vSAN and VXRAIL would have advantage.
∎ Strong hands on server/blade hardware like UCSM, Dell, HP, Oracle, etc.
∎ Experience in NAS protocols including CIFS and NFS.
∎ Strong knowledge and experience with VMware server virtualization technologies; VCP certification a plus.
∎ Strong knowledge and experience with Linux operating system; Linux certification a plus.
∎ Advanced troubleshooting skills with Linux servers and Linux based applications.
∎ Knowledge and experience with VDI solutions a plus.
∎ Knowledge and experience with VMware NSX a plus.
∎ Knowledge and experience with configuring and maintaining MS Azure IaaS a plus.
∎ Knowledge and experience with scripting a plus.
∎ ITILv3 certification is a plus
