We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Senior Engineer (Mechanical) for Bashundhara Chemical Industries Limited, Mirsharai, Chattogram

 Job Description:

  • Review GA drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings and vendor documents for execution readiness.

  • Prepare BOQ, MTO, cost estimates and progress measurement reports.

  • Plan and supervise erection and installation of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, reactors, pressure vessels, storage tanks, boilers, reformers, cooling towers, piping systems and steel structures.

  • Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation, QA/QC and HSE teams during construction/installation, ensuring compliance with PTW, LOTO, hot work, lifting and confined space safety procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, welding standards, engineering codes and inspection requirements.

  • Coordinate welding inspection and NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT) and support flushing, hydrotesting, leak testing, and mechanical completion activities.

  • Perform alignment, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of rotating and static equipment.

  • Execute preventive, predictive, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities during operation phase.

  • Monitor contractor manpower, productivity and mechanical work progress at site.

  • Prepare daily and monthly progress reports, test records and technical documentation.

  • Update and maintain as-built drawings and site modification records.
