Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Installation, configuration, administration, security hardening of SQL Server. Ensure all database servers are backed up in a way that meets the business's Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
∎ Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration (incl. Active Directory) & idea on proper disk configurations.
∎ Experience with SQL Server in both physical & virtual environments.
∎ Familiarity with backups, restores, and recovery models.
∎ Experience utilizing various high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server.
∎ When performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes.
∎ Tuning T-SQL queries to improve performance. Finding DMV queries to answer questions about server-level performance.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Having experience in banking/financial software development will get preference.
∎ At least 6 years of recent hands-on experience in SQL Administration from MS SQL Server 2008 R2 onward.
∎ Must be proactive, energetic & determined to meet deadlines.
∎ The applicant must good written and verbal communication skill in English.
∎ Able to work independently & under pressure.
∎ Innovative, open minded and ready to put the necessary effort to reach the goals and deadlines.
∎ The ideal candidate will be an intelligent, mature and level-headed individual who will seek long-term future with the organization
∎ Collaborate with team members and ensure knowledge transfer.
∎ Continue strategic approach, innovation and develop best practices in the use of technology
Salary: Tk. 80000 - 115000 (Monthly)
