∎ JOB PURPOSE: Analyze the context of climate change from poverty and livelihood perspectives; and support BRAC`s existing and new programme to design and integrate the livelihood components. Ensure cross-learning sharing, innovative and best livelihood practices across programme. Support to maintain the quality of programme implementation framework; and capacity development for the same.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the Programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct regular high-level analysis on multi-dimensional poverty in the context of climate change scenario
∎ Provide high level technical assistance to design and integrate the livelihood components in the new and existing programme of BRAC to be relevant focusing climate change
∎ Develop knowledge products by documenting the climate change issues in line with the development of livelihood activities
∎ Evaluate the effectiveness of the programme design, capture learnings and recommend necessary changes to fine tune the programme strategy
∎ Regular check-in with the respective programmes to track the progress and provide necessary guidance to maintain quality standard
∎ Ensure sharing of cross-learning and share new, innovative and best livelihood practices across respective programme
∎ Suggest necessary capacity development initiatives to the respective programme for smooth implementation of the programme implementation
∎ Support the planning of advocacy initiative based on the programmes' existing strategy and requirements

∎ Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
∎ Minimum 5 years of working experience is required
