Job Context:
∎ The Scrum Master will have the opportunity to work closely with our product teams in a fast-paced, start-up environment where new ideas are encouraged and collaboration is a must. The main mission of this role is to help their Scrum Teams focus on creating high-value product increments by coaching everyone to understand Scrum theory and practice. By working to ensure that all Scrum events take place and are positive and productive, helping to remove impediments to the Scrum Team`s progress, this position will play a key role in our growing team. This position is located in Dhaka.
∎ Agile ceremonies are positive, productive, and facilitated consistently across Scrum Teams Retrospectives have clear agreed upon action items that focus on increasing quality and effectiveness, and are followed up on Sprints are started with an agreed upon Sprint Goal that creates coherence and focus, encouraging the Scrum Team to work together rather than on separate initiatives
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate and facilitate backlog refinement meetings, Sprint Planning meetings, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and product demos
∎ Facilitate continuous improvement by understanding the Scrum Master role for multiple teams
∎ Ensure that Scrum Teams are creating a valuable, useful increment every Sprint
∎ Support a variety of teams, whose members reside in the Canada and Bangladesh
∎ Enable the Scrum Team to meet Sprint Goals by helping to remove impediments to the team's progress
∎ Foster and coach the team on the adoption of agile tools and practices, including helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work
∎ Provide transparency into the Scrum process by ensuring the accuracy of the product backlog, sprint board, burndown charts, control charts, cycle times, velocity analysis, etc.
∎ Sprint report for stakeholders
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1-2+ years experience as a Scrum Master (or equivalent Scrum Team experience) working in an agile environment managing product or program digital initiatives demonstrating effective coordination of engineering, design/UX, and stakeholders
∎ Knowledge of continuous delivery practices with automated testing
∎ Must be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, removing barriers between stakeholders and scrum teams
∎ Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and minimize the allocation of resources to low-value work
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
∎ Willingness to work with Canada na d Bagladesh time zone
∎ Must have experience to work with min 15+ Software Engineer and 6 QA members.
∎ Proficiency in professional communication in English is a must
∎ Experience with scrum methodology for software development
∎ The ability to work well with cross functional teams
∎ The ability to organize, maintain process, meet deadlines and do multi-task
∎ Ready to offer long-term commitment, must have long-term vision
∎ Must have mindset to conduct meetings with clients and partners after office hour (EST time)
∎ Should have the ability to work under extreme pressure.
∎ Willingness to grow with the Company.
∎ High work Ethics & Professionalism.
