Job Context:
∎ We are open to hire strong Scala, Java or C# developer. We are currently processing 100.000+ queries per second and analyzing each of these against ±1 billion of user profiles and making decisions to buy banner or not in under 100ms for each of these 100k queries. Thus we have big data, high load, low latency, which is typically very interesting and challenging environment for great engineers. This position requires 50% hands-on coding and 50% team management.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the Scala team of Eskimi Bangladesh
∎ Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
∎ Co-design front-end and back-end architecture
∎ Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
∎ Assist to develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
∎ Write effective APIs
∎ Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
∎ Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade programs
∎ Create security and data protection settings
∎ Collaborate with the business teams to brainstorm effective solutions as and when needed
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good knowhow of Scala/Java/C#
∎ Working knowhow of MySQL and multiple table joins; indexes
∎ Working knowhow of caching servers (memcached, redis, aerospike)
∎ Must be able to learn new frameworks quickly
∎ Strong coding skills
∎ Strong managerial skills
∎ Excellent communications skills
Salary:
