Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Nutrition/ Agriculture/ Food System from any recognised university/ institutions

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide strategic and management support for SAPLING project implementation and planning and coordination of project and its activities according to the organisation's standards
∎ Coordinate with the consultants for collating and synthesizing existing evidence for position papers and communicate with relevant stakeholders including government and other stakeholders to raise visibility of the food system issues and build consensus
∎ Maintain liaison with donors and stakeholders for smooth functioning of project activities and policy making for SAPLING project
∎ Track and analyse projects performance, expenditures, procurement, and coordination for ensuring timely completion of deliverables. Handle any issues that arise and solve problems in a tactful and responsive manner.
∎ Work closely with the development partners and will be responsible for communication and engagement in activities. Schedule and organise meetings/ events and maintain agenda. Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
∎ Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance test
∎ Develop comprehensive reports on ongoing programme activities and submit summary reports to donors as per request
∎ Coordinate with different departments of BRAC, e.g. Strategy and Communication Department, Finance & Accounts Department, Human Resource Department, Internal Audit Department, Monitoring Department, Procurement Department, Administration Department, Legal and Compliance Department, Partnership Strengthening Unit, Logistics Department
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 8 years experience in related field
∎ Knowledge on the health sector of Bangladesh
∎ Project Management
∎ Critical thinking & problem solving skills
∎ Attention to detail
∎ Leadership skills
∎ Strong interpersonal skills
∎ Strong hold speaking and writing in both English and Bengali
