Experience:

• At least 3 years

• Experienced in education program will get priority.

• Comprehensive knowledge about primary education in Bangladesh and experience will be flexible who have excellent academic results.

• Subject base knowledge in any subject class 1 to 5.

• Minimum knowledge to conduct training and meetings.

• Minimum knowledge on local government system in union level.

• Willing to work hard and at remotest area in Bangladesh and motivation in working with Adivasi & Non-adivasi poor people.

• Good interpersonal skill like as good behavior, respect to other, respect to children etc.

• Have good oral and written communication in English and Bangla.

• Sound knowledge in computer skills in MS office word.

• Mandatory to drive motorcycle and have valid driving license.

• Practical skills in singing and dancing, expertise in any game (football, cricket, local game etc.

• Reciting skill poem and good reading skill.

• Any campaigning for social work.

• Aware and sensitive regarding gender issues and respect for diversity.

• Any responsibilities given by the Organization.

DASCOH Foundation is a non-government and non-profitable organization. Utilizing local knowledge of the people at grass root and available resources at local level, DASCOH has put forward an alternative participatory development process. It has developed a professional workforce with flexible decision-making capacity. DASCOH is using supportive supervision & coaching method to develop human capital and thus helping to develop the capacity of local government institutions, which is reflected in the project planning and management with local government, private sector, donors and the community. Currently, it operates ten projects, covering the thematic areas of health, climate adaptation, human rights, quality education, livelihood improvement, etc. mainly covering Rajshahi division but all over the country. Several projects are ongoing in the thematic areas and information technology support are required for innovation, monitoring, analysis and showcasing good practices and achievements.

DASCOH Foundation is looking for a dynamic Education Organizer (EO) for its "Promoting Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education in Two Rural Districts of Bangladesh (PRIORITY)" project supported by NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall implementation of 10 schools with other project activities;

• Manage and supervise staff (5 ESO) of the project;

• Provide technical support to Teacher and ESO;

• Facilitate the students’ performance;

• Facilitate in different meetings, trainings, dialogue and workshops;

• Prepare monthly action plan, activity report and submit it to supervisor;

• Monitor activities from school to district;

• Regular visit of the schools and household of students;

• Organize community level different events;

• Effective communication with relevant authorities.
