Additional Job Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of development contexts, data pipeline and metadata management processes, and experience with data storage platforms.
  • Proficient in SQL tools like MS SQL, PG SQL extra knowledge on python and any BI tools.
  • Highly self-motivated and hardworking, with strong coordination and collaboration abilities.
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities, with the ability to evaluate complex situations, identify key insights, and make well-reasoned.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, with hands-on expertise in enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platforms. Candidates with practical experience in data management, reporting, and analytics solutions will be given preference.

Job Purpose:

  • The Deputy Manager, Data Warehouse & Reporting is responsible for leading the operation, enhancement, and modernization of data warehouse and reporting systems for the Microfinance Programme. The role ensures reliable, secure, and timely data processing, reporting, and business intelligence solutions to support organizational decision-making. The incumbent collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to improve system performance, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operation and continuous improvement of data warehouse and reporting systems.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance data warehouse infrastructure and reporting capabilities.

  • Lead the implementation of business intelligence solutions and data warehouse modernization initiatives.

  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of data warehouse systems and reporting platforms.

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of MIS reports and business insights.

  • Maintain compliance with data governance, security, and operational standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver technology initiatives.

  • Lead, coach, and support team members to improve operational performance and reporting quality.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
