Educational Qualifications:
Master's Degree in any Discipline. MDS/MBA will be given preference.
Years of Experience:
2-3 years in the relevant field NGO, DRR&CCA, and Value Chain and Market Linkage.

Mandatory Requirements:
Assist the Private Sector Engagement Officer (PSEO) in achieving project objectives.
Engage in day-to-day field-level project implementation activities and data collection.
Arrange and conduct community-level training and workshops on participatory ecosystem management and business development activities.
Assist in developing and sustaining partnerships with different stakeholders, including youth, activists, scientists, civil society organizations, business sectors, and the government of Bangladesh, especially at the grassroots.
Promoting women and youth leadership for climate justice and natural resource rights.
Assisting in progress reporting for projects using information from various sources.
Ensuring safe and inclusive project management.
Assist in knowledge development on blue economy and inclusive development.
Assist with all other project management activities as relevant.

Community Development Centre (CODEC) is an inheritor of DANIDA Bangladesh derived from couple of project intervention explicitly DANIDA Boat Building Project and Boat Rental Scheme. CODEC has been working as a people centered development organization since 1985. CODEC is implementing different Development projects in the field of Education, Livelihood support, Environment, Legal Service, Humanitarian Field, Advocacy, Health & Nutrition etc. The aim of CODEC is to provide support and assistance to the disadvantaged coastal communities in their day-to-day struggle. Community Development Centre (CODEC) is going to implement The Blue Economy and Inclusive Development for Climate Justice (BID4CJ) project funded by OXFAM in Satkhira and Cox`s Bazar.
The BID4CJ aims to empower coastal communities to nurture healthy ecosystems and a climate-just economy in south-west and south-east Bangladesh through feminist climate movements, ecosystem restoration and ethical business development. CODEC invites applications for the following positions from potential Bangladeshi nationals.
Duration: 01 August 2026 to 30 June 2027
Job Location: Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar.
Key areas of responsibility:
Assist the Project Manager and Private Sector Engagement Officer in achieving project objectives.
Engage in day-to-day field-level project implementation activities. Engage in field-level data collection on a demand basis.
Arrange and conduct community-level training and workshops on participatory ecosystem management and other relevant activities.
Communicate to stakeholders at the local level from a justice and equity approach in conducting awareness-raising actions.
Assist in developing and sustaining partnerships with different stakeholders, including youth, activists, scientists, civil society organizations, business sectors, and the government of Bangladesh, especially at the grassroots.
Promoting women and youth leadership for climate justice and natural resource rights.
Assisting in progress reporting for projects using information from various sources.
Ensuring safe and inclusive project management.
Assist in knowledge development on blue economy and inclusive development.
Assist all the other project management activities as relevant.
Safegurding and PSEA:
S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)`s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
