Sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Requirements Specification (SRS), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Understanding of business analysis, process mapping, and software implementation practices.
Familiarity with microfinance/financial applications, IT governance, and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting/ Management or equivalent discipline from a reputed educational institution.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, with hands-on experience as a Business Analyst and/or Developer in microfinance financial applications, core banking systems, or insurance software within the MFI, banking, or insurance sectors.

Job Purpose: The Deputy Manager, SRS Review and UAT Management is responsible for support the successful delivery and continuous improvement of Microfinance financial applications by translating business requirements into effective system solutions, ensuring quality through SRS review, business configuration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The role exists to enhance delivery efficiency, maintain alignment between business needs and technology solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reliable, compliant, and user-centric applications that support operational excellence and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and operational processes to prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) that align with business objectives and IT standards.
Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities by collaborating with business and technology teams to validate system functionality, ensure quality, and support successful solution deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Microfinance financial applications, ensuring timely and effective project delivery.
Monitor and resolve application-related issues, manage business configurations, and coordinate escalations to ensure system reliability, operational continuity, and an improved user experience.
Support project governance by contributing to budget and procurement activities, preparing functional documentation, and facilitating user training and knowledge-sharing to promote effective system adoption and continuous improvement.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
