Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience.
Experience in leading field teams and managing participatory data systems.
Experience in climate resilience, disaster management, water governance, or natural resource management preferred.

• Uttaran invites applications for the vacant position titled- Project Coordinator for the "Growing Awareness for Rights, Development, Education, Empowerment and Nurturing – (GARDEN)"
• Reports to: Director of Uttaran
Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective implementation of project activities within project area. Key responsibilities include:
• Integrated Interventions Combining Remedial Learning, ECCE Expansion, Teacher Capacity Building, and Socio-Economic Support
• Support for peer learning circles to improve teaching quality and learning outcomes.
• Work for children and parent to offset education costs and encourage families to prioritize school attendance over child labor.
• Work for annual community mapping and household surveys to identify and re-enrol marginalized out-of-school children, particularly Dalit and extreme-poor children
• Strengthening Community-Based Actions through Awareness Raising on Education and Protection
• Community and Stakeholder Engagement for Shared Ownership and Collaborative Problem - Solving
• Work for capacity building of School Management Committees (SMCs), Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs), and Community Child Protection Committees (CCPCs) to identify risks, manage cases, implement safeguarding measures, and support referrals for children vulnerable to child labor, GBV, and sexual harassment.
• Strengthening the Role of the Local Implementing Partner
• Enhance Uttaran's technical capacity through training in child protection case management, inclusive education, and climate-responsive programming.
• Evidence-Sharing and Advocacy with Government and Local Authorities for Sustainable Scale
• Organize quarterly linkage meetings with the Upazila Education Office, Upazila Secondary Education Office, and Local Government Institutions to share evidence, identify systemic barriers, and promote joint action for improving education services.
• Advocate for the integration of proven interventions—such as CCPC models, MHM infrastructure, and teacher peer mentoring—into government planning and budgeting to ensure long-term sustainability beyond the project period.
Field Supervision and Activity Management
• Oversee and manage field activities across multiple locations.
• Supervise field-level staff to ensure adherence to the project work plan.
• Provide necessary support to the project team for effective implementation of interventions.
• Coordinate and organize exposure visits, workshops, and capacity-building events for national and local stakeholders.
Advocacy, Coordination, and Collaboration
• Follow up on advocacy, coordination, networking, and collaboration with union, Upazila, and national-level line departments.
• Maintain effective liaison with private sector representatives, Union Parishad members, extension officials, and community leaders to secure support for project implementation.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation
• Develop and share monthly, quarterly, and annual operational plans and reports as per donor requirements.
• Oversee the preparation of high-quality, timely reports for submission to stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities

• Strong skills in planning, organizing, and facilitating workshops and training sessions.
