Data collection, filtering and validation skill
Experienced in conducting baseline, mid-term, and end-line evaluations.
Skilled in using apps-based data collection tools such as KOBO and ODK. MS Team, Zoom, Google meet and others
Behavioural Competencies:
Gender-sensitive and inclusive approach in community engagement.
Ability to work in remote locations and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Uttaran invites applications for the vacant position titled- MEAL Officer for the Fisherfolk Integration for Sustainable Habitat and Natural Ecosystem Transformation (FISHNET) Project
Reports to: MEAL and safeguarding for secretariate
Employment Status: Contractual- Fixed Term Contract for 2 years
Project Area: Bagerhat and Patuakhali District

Job Responsibilities
As the MEAL Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective implementation of project activities within the Monitoring and Evaluation. Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with the Project Coordinator to design, plan and execute the M&E framework of the project
Ensuring proper preservation of project-related Monitoring and Evaluation documents, reports, publications, and other relevant materials
Demonstrating knowledge of qualitative and quantitative M&E systems, large database management, and monitoring of access to resources, services
Managing M&E and MIS database, including template design, data entry, cleaning, logical checks of monitoring data
Preparing event report, monthly, quarterly, annually and other reports as per the donor and Uttaran’s requirement
Creating success stories/case studies with photographs
Monitoring and evaluating field level project activities
Ensure the implementation of all activities of the project qualitatively and quantitatively
Work with relevant committees, and working groups to implement program activities following the work plan, implementation in the schedule, and Monitoring & Evaluation plan
Submission of weekly/monthly activity plan.
Safeguarding
Respond in a timely manner to safeguarding concerns to ensure pupils are kept safe from harm.
Pro-actively work with parents / carers and other agencies through joint planning and monitoring of their arrangements for the safeguarding of children.
Report to the Safeguarding Lead on all safeguarding concerns to ensure they retain oversight of Safeguarding within the project and consortium.
Salary: 47,631 BDT and 1 festival bonus equivalent of 1 month gross salary yearly
