Sample Collection
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The mission of the Sample Collector is to collect samples of wastewater (sewage/faecal sludge) in Cox’s Bazar district as directed by Laboratory Manager and deliver them to the DPHE FSL.
∎ Key tasks and responsibilities:
∎ Collecting samples following hygiene and safety steps appropriately.
∎ Appropriately using sampling equipment
∎ Cleaning the laboratory and sampling equipment that might be contaminated with faecal sludge.
∎ Perform any other laboratory-related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory technicians
Additional Requirements:
∎ Previous experience in sampling in environmental laboratories or in laboratories of wastewater (sewage/faecal sludge) treatment units is highly welcomed. At least 02 years relevant working experience.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
∎ IT literate with strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity
∎ Experience in working as part of a team
∎ Strong planning/organizational skills
∎ Willing to work with partially flexible work hours
Salary: Tk. 36000 - 45000 (Monthly)
