∎ Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in tobacco or FMCG sales & marketing function.
∎ Possess credible international & local leadership experience with sound cross-cultural exposure.
∎ Solid background in Route to Market, Sales Force Management, Commercial Planning, Trade Marketing & Budget / P&L management.
∎ Sound understanding of operational constraints and strong executional reflex.
∎ Appreciation of legislation / taxation, external relations, marketing standards in tobacco industry.
∎ Proven people management & leadership skills.
∎ We Expect from You:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strategizing and leading the implementation of strategic plans to achieve national Sales target. Assessing cost, Competition, and supply and demand to identify selling strategies and also mitigating gaps.
∎ Leading route to market strategy to deliver JTI volume & SoM targets by channel, setting and managing OpEx, Sales & Head Count budgets. Responsible for forecast planning & communication to ensure accurate data for ordering and production planning purposes. Closely monitoring of regulatory situation, tobacco market movement and competition to drive timely actions in close collaboration with cross functions to ensure alignment and integrated initiatives.
∎ Build capabilities & lead the Key Account team to enhance relationships & develop in this small but strategically important & growing channels.
∎ Overseeing Territory planning & management, field force deployment, monitoring of efficiency & regular route to market assessments through planning & guiding Sales team to achieve business objectives (weighted & numeric), visibility & SoM targets.
∎ Collaborate with Marketing function in strategizing Brand visibility in targeted areas to build brand awareness and drive business amongst adult smokers. Provide guidance Trade Activation team to develop relevant trade programs and manage visibility strategy / investments.
∎ Position Purpose:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible to deliver overall business volume of Bangladesh by formulating Sales strategies, shape the Route to Market strategic direction (coverage plan, distribution model, key accounts & close cooperation with the field Sales team) and closely work with Marketing leadership team to shape the strategic plan to tailor to the local market need. The incumbent will give strategic direction to the Commercial Planning, Trade Development and Trade Activation team in leveraging the business performance to achieve the optimal results. He/She will be responsible for managing OpEx & Sales budget through working closely with the country leadership team. In addition, He/she will be responsible to ensure a succession & development plan to build a sales bench strength and development / enhancing team competencies.
