WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

·         Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance and/or law.

·         At least 14 years of relevant work experience, preferably from MNCs.

·         Awareness of legal and compliance risks and the ability to establish means for managing such risks consistent with business objectives.

·         Possess credible international & local and/or regional leadership experience with sound cross-cultural exposure

WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE:

To ensure JT International Bangladesh's business operations in Bangladesh are managed in compliance with JTI’s global policy framework that is applicable across all JTI’s operations in different countries.  

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist Market, Factory and Leaf operations in Bangladesh to develop an improved understanding of global policies and guidelines that are evolving in line with changing business priorities and strategic directions of the JTI Group.

· Advise the business on JTI’s global policies related to corporate governance, data security, consumer protection, anti-corruption, bribery and other relevant areas to ensure compliance.

· Identify and assess potential risk areas from both international and local context, and effectively address those through proper policy framework and supportive actions.

· Conduct regular audits across Market, Factory and Leaf to ensure operations are managed in a compliant manner.

·  Focus on employee upskilling by managing necessary training, workshops, assignments, and knowledge-sharing sessions with other JTI markets. 

·  Regular reporting at regional and HQ level.

Establishing proper channels for reporting violations, conducting investigations, and handling whistle blowers, in line with global policies.
