• MUST BE WILLING TO WORK AT STEEL FACTORY ENVIRONMENT

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor steel plant production processes from the control room/pulpit.

• Monitor plant equipment, production parameters, alarms, and operating conditions through control systems.

• Control and coordinate production operations according to approved procedures and production targets.

• Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, flow, and production rates.

• Coordinate with field operators, maintenance teams, and supervisors to ensure smooth plant operations.

• Identify abnormal operating conditions, equipment faults, and process deviations and take appropriate action.

• Start, stop, and adjust plant equipment according to operational requirements and safety procedures.

• Maintain accurate production logs, operating records, and shift reports.

• Follow standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and plant safety regulations.

• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations and coordinate necessary corrective actions.

• Ensure continuous and efficient operation of the steel production process.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or relevant field.

• Relevant experience as a Pulpit Operator / Control Room Operator, preferably in a steel plant or heavy industrial environment.

• Good understanding of steel production processes and industrial equipment.

• Experience with control panels, PLC/SCADA systems, and process monitoring is preferred.

• Good observation, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
