Job Title: Quality Controller


Objective of the role:

Develop, implement and improve quality management system and plans to ensure that the company’s products are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations, including regulatory requirements so as to contribute to the company’s annual business plan and long-term growth.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Ensure incoming materials, in-process and all finished products meet specified requirements.

• Implement and follow strong all-around quality control on all RM, PM and FG to minimize customer compliant.  

• Responsible for customer complaints and ensure that customer complaints are investigated and resolved with the necessary corrective and preventive actions along with Production In-charge

• Ensure quality in the initial start-up of new or modified product manufacturing.

• Update and keep Director - Technical / RTM on quality issues.

• Conduct vendor surveillance to judge quality competence of prospective vendors.

• Serve as Quality Management Representative for the company with respect to ISO 9001.

• Monitor and review quality performance against company’s set objectives and take necessary action to advise process owners to strive for improvements.

• Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.

• Maintain Calibration of laboratory equipment’s.

• Plan and manage departmental resources and activities in accordance with approved budgets and timescales to contribute to company’s profitability.

• Manage departmental performance against agreed targets.

• Identify staff’s relevant training needs and develop them to their best potential.
  

Key Working Relationships:
Internal-

• Production In-charge /CT/SE/ASM/ RSM/RTM.

• Marketing/Production/QC/Technical/SOP.

External-

• Customers, Consultants and Contractors.

Knowledge/ Experience/ Skills/ Personal Attributes:

Essential-

• 2-3 years of working experience in Quality control department of any Industry.

Desirable-

• Having working experience in Quality control department of Chemical / Construction / Paint  Industry.
