Responsibilities & Context:

Duties & Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager – Marketing (Hospital & Diagnostic Center)

  1. Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase patient volume and revenue for the hospital and diagnostic center.

  2. Lead and supervise the marketing team, assigning targets and monitoring daily field activities.

  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, clinics, hospitals, diagnostic centers, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals to increase referrals.

  4. Establish and maintain corporate tie-ups with companies, factories, educational institutions, NGOs, insurance companies, and government organizations.

  5. Plan and organize health camps, free medical check-up programs, awareness campaigns, seminars, and community outreach activities.

  6. Promote hospital specialties, consultant doctors, diagnostic services, health packages, and preventive healthcare programs.

  7. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the organization's market presence.

  8. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and patient trend analysis to support business growth.

  9. Should possess a strong target-driven attitude.

  10. Prepare and manage annual marketing plans, budgets, and promotional activities.

  11. Coordinate with hospital departments to ensure smooth execution of marketing campaigns and patient services.

  12. Monitor patient satisfaction and referral feedback, recommending service improvements where necessary.

  13. Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website content, social media, online promotions, and reputation management.

  14. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing performance reports for management.

  15. Track marketing KPIs, patient acquisition, referral growth, and return on investment (ROI) of campaigns.

  16. Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of marketing executives and field officers.

  17. Represent the hospital at medical conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and professional meetings.

  18. Ensure all marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and hospital policies.

  19. Collaborate with senior management to achieve business development, branding, and revenue objectives.

  20. Handle key client relationships and resolve issues related to corporate and referral partners.

  21. Perform any additional marketing and business development responsibilities assigned by management.
