Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales development representatives (SDRs).
∎ Set clear performance goals and provide regular coaching and feedback.
∎ Foster a positive and competitive team culture focused on achieving targets.
∎ Oversee the development and execution of lead generation strategies.
∎ Monitor and ensure consistent pipeline growth to meet business goals.
∎ Collaborate with marketing to refine lead qualification criteria and campaigns.
∎ Develop and implement processes for efficient lead handoff to the sales team.
∎ Work with sales leadership to align SDR efforts with broader sales strategies.
∎ Utilize data-driven insights to optimize team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
∎ Track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead conversion rates and pipeline contribution.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and sales development metrics.
∎ Analyze data to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
∎ Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and goals.
∎ Provide feedback from the sales development team to inform product and marketing strategies.
∎ Act as a liaison between SDRs and senior leadership to communicate challenges and successes.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends, sales techniques, and tools.
∎ Identify and implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
∎ Encourage a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Experience:
∎ 8+ years of experience in sales or business development.
∎ 5+ years of experience managing a sales development or similar team.
∎ Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to meet and exceed targets.
∎ Strong analytical skills and familiarity with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Experience in B2B sales or SaaS environments.
∎ Familiarity with outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.
∎ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
∎ Demonstrated success in implementing new sales technologies or processes.
