∎ The Bangladesh Rating Agency Limited (BDRAL) established in 2009 is a subsidiary of Dun & Bradstreet South Asia Middle East Ltd and having shareholding of nine leading local banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs). BDRAL is one of the leading Credit Rating Agency (CRA) in Bangladesh licensed by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) and accredited by Bangladesh Bank as an External Credit Assessment Institutes (ECAI) under the BASEL norms.
∎ Job Overview: This position will be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Will be responsible for Medium and Large corporate including Banks, NBFIs and Insurance Companies credit assessment
∎ Analyzing and evaluating clients' credit data, by performing financial statement analysis and credit analysis of other relevant documents and information through MS Excel and specialized rating software in order to assign and prepare the credit rating report
∎ Actively participate in rating activities and committees, within an assigned portfolio
∎ Makes recommendations to the rating committee and prepares material for ratings publication
∎ Presenting data to the rating committee along with analysis, findings, and recommendations
∎ Develop and improvise spreadsheets and models to support analysis and assist in developing rating methodology
∎ Conducting necessary research for preparing industry analysis report
∎ Ensuring compliance and is expected in adhering to any other task assigned by management

Additional Requirements:
∎ We are looking for a rating analyst who is experienced in handling large corporate credit analysis, preferably with exposure to multiple industry sectors
∎ Impeccable understanding of financial models, financial data, financial ratios and financial statement analysis
∎ Strong proficiency in MS Office suite and general computer use
∎ Analytical mind having thorough understanding of financial markets and business environment.
∎ Under established guidelines and direct management, has the ability to analyze unique, non-routine analytical or business problems in a timely and insightful manner
∎ Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision
∎ Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
∎ 2-4 years of strong relevant experience in related industry (4-6 years without advanced degree)
∎ Flair for Financial Modeling, Ratio Analysis & possess good industry knowledge
∎ Concise verbal and written communication skills
∎ Good presentation skills
∎ Rating agency experience will be an added advantage
