Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
∎ Graduation/ Post Graduation major in Knit Manufacturing preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 14 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues to GM.
∎ Monitor all operations that affect quality.
∎ Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians, and other staff.
∎ Report all mortification to production executives to ensure immediate action.
∎ Review current standards and policies.
∎ To run the Pviot88 for Inspection purpose.
∎ Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.
∎ Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections.
∎ To Manage (lead) the Quality Team, set performance objectives, reviews and performance coach via regular 1-1's, meeting and development plans.
∎ Implement, communicate and drive the QC strategy as defined by Head of QA UK to constantly improve the Quality, Fit and Value of products.
∎ Analyse and report on the Quality performance of the products within your factories.
∎ To play a key role in Factory, supplier/service provider performance management and development to provide key input into the sourcing strategy driving continuous improvement.
∎ Analyse and refine ways of working and processes to improve efficiency, lead time, speed to market.
∎ Communicate and engage with Senior QA Managers and their teams as well as the wider Product team both internal and external including Buying, Merchandising, Warehouse, Ethical team to drive the Quality Initiatives forward and share best practice both in the UK and during factory visits in country.
∎ Co-ordinate and support the Day-to-Day function of the QC Team to achieve optimum productivity.
∎ Review and action customer feedback, returns metrics to drive continuous improvement.
∎ Growth in Profitability - reduce returns rates due to improved Fit and Quality, Value and Customer perception with less quality issues at source, reduced defects and reduced non-compliance.
∎ Research and benchmark new Technical Innovations, Trends and Sizing Data.
∎ Implement and train certified auditors' program with suppliers in Bangladesh.
∎ On-going technical training for suppliers and team members to create and maintain a centre of quality excellence.
∎ Train and develop supplier's quality teams allowing them to self-audit.
∎ Work with teams to develop local self-sealing.
∎ Good team leader and excellent people management skills.
∎ Honest, team player.
∎ People Management
∎ Ensure the delivery of the People Strategy within area of accountability.
∎ Manage, coach and develop a high performing Quality Operations team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
∎ Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
∎ Motivate and coach the team to operational success.
∎ Review, implement and update company records e.g. training matrices, performance reviews, risk assessments.
∎ Communicate KPIs from the strategic annual plan so that each employee is aware.
